The images show the simulation of the bending step of a high pressure fitting for hydraulic applications. This simulation allows you to measure plastic deformation beyond the yield point; in addition, it is possible to measure the forces required for the shaping process and to estimate the elastic return.
EXAMPLE 02
The images show the simulation of a reinforced concrete beam. Non-linear analysis allows you to measure stress, displacement and deformation of the processed materials (in this case, concrete and steel).
The examined beam has a rectangular section, with double reinforcement at a constant pitch. Compatibility between radically different materials, that are often characterized by non constant performances (as it happens with composite materials), require non-linear simulations to analyze stress-strain state of the system in question.
